#WorldCupUSA - USA fans celebrate in Kansas City

Payback can be sweet, especially if you are a USA fan. 

For the 10,000  fans who packed the Power and Light District in downtown Kansas City, it was a roller coaster ride.

An early goal got the USA fans in a good mood...

 ...but the rest of the half was one setback after another.  Still the USA was up at half-time.

 Fans from all nations, including Nigeria packed the square to watch the match.

 and even friends of humans as well.

 The second half continued to be one tense ride and it looked like USA could hold on...

 ...but Ghana scored a goal and equalized.

 But the USA returned the favor a few minutes later sending the crowd into a frenzy.

 And when the final whistle blew it was pure elation.

 Let the party begin.

 Congrats  to the Ghana fans

And bring on Ronaldo and Portugal.
